If you look up at our steeple, you will notice a change. Damaged and missing terra cotta ornaments at two levels on the steeple have been replaced. When restoration work was underway a few years ago fragments of the ornaments were found on the chancel roof. Our contractor, McLeod Masonry International, took the fragments to their B.C. office and used them to make a mould that was then used to recreate the ornaments. The skill and time required to do this work was a contribution by McLeod Masonry to our restoration project.
Gord McLeod is on site these days working on the current project. If you happen to see him, take the time to thank him for his fine work.
