Infants
We provide a Children's area in the South Transept of the Cathedral. This area is paved with foam blocks and includes toys for infants and small children, colouring/craft tables, a high chair and play yard. This is an extension of the worship space, and parents are encouraged to participate in worship from this area while their children engage in play.
Infants and Children are valued members of the Congregation.
Our Aim
Our aim in providing this space is to communicate that we value children and their parents. We recognize that children need to expend energy and engage in play, while also being included in worship. This area provides a safe environment for children to play and observe the service, while parents participate in Worship.
Amenities
Diapers and wipes are generally available in the transept area in case they are needed. Folding change tables are found in the washrooms downstairs (proceed through the door under the organ pipes and follow the signs to the washrooms).
